Barley Hall
Barley Hall is a unique survival in York, a city of wonderful buildings. It is a medieval building in the centre of the city, forgotten until a few years ago, concealed as it was under a jumble of run down derelict offices and workshops. It was excavated in the 1980s which revealed that under this jumble was a surviving example of a medieval town house.
Barley Hall is a splendid venue for small dinners, receptions, banquets or a wedding, lying as it does in the centre of historic York.
The Great Hall can seat up to 45 for a banquet. The Great Hall and the Chambers upstairs can fit up to about 70 guests for a buffet. We can recommend all types of menus.
Bradshaws of York Ltd can cater for your every need here, please feel free to download our Menus from our Downloads Page, or send us an enquiry using the online Enquiry Form.
